GAME OVER
I've been a part of this game called "Love" for over three years now with a significant other. Our objectives of the game was to manage time, be dedicated, show respect, be loyal, protect one another, lean on communication to get us through certain situations, give a helping hand when needed, have fun with one another, provide a good sense of humor when needed, provide great sex, strive for an education, manage money. If an objective is not complete, then the person who failed to complete the objective can't move forward in the game. But each person were given a limited amount of chances to complete the objective in order to keep the game going. Once your chances are gone, the Game is Over!!!
During the beginning of the game, we developed a great friendship; movie dates, dinner dates, shopping, partying, laughing and joking and overall fun activities. We exchanged sweet text messages, we were straight forward about everything, well which I thought she was. We met each others family and they accepted our relationship. Thanksgiving and Christmas had arrived and things were looking great. A lot of time was spent together in this level of the game; every step I took with my left foot, she came with her right foot. We approached our first check point "Education." Education was a major factor in order to keep the game running. I always was strong in my studies; she was very weak due to lack of family support. I gave my hand and pulled her through high school in which she received her diploma. I went on an attended Salem International University my first year of college. She joined the Army National Guard which was going to pay for her to go to college. After her army training, I had transferred to Kent State University. She went on ahead and attended Cuyahoga Community College for a semester with intentions to transfer to Kent State University. However, upon finishing up her first semester at Cuyahoga Community College, she found multiple part-time jobs, which took her mind off education. As of this point in the game, she is at a standstill.
It's the middle of the game and we have now reached another check point "Helping." If one is stuck at a certain objective, offer them a helping hand. I gave my hand multiple times and she still remained in the same position. Education has not gone through her head and she stayed working her part-time jobs. From there on, she began playing the game freestyle. Breaking all the objectives; hanging out all night, lying to my family and I, lack of communication , not managing money, spending money on wants instead of needs, allowing other men to drive the car whom I never met, lying about who her male friends are, been caught numerous times hanging out with men outside the house and throughout the city. I gave her multiple chances to stop free styling and to complete some objectives. She began completing some objectives but began falling into the freestyle play again and I once more have given her more chances to advance in the game.
On my behalf, I have mastered many of the levels and I have advanced through all the objectives. I've managed my time, I have been dedicated, I showed respect most of the time, I was loyal, I kept it real even when I was wrong, I protected her at times of need, I leaned on communication to get us through our situations, I gave a helping hand when it was needed most, I had fun with her, I provided a good sense of humor daily, sex was great, I manage my money well. I'm currently in school and a year away from receiving the education I need so I can enter my career of criminal justice. I am currently employed at Kent State University as a Security Aide. I've fulfilled my duties of a wonderful loving man to her but I guess I wasn't good enough, or shall I say she wasn't the one for me. Maybe she just enjoys men that's in the same boat as her; no education and a part-time job that they believe will buy them houses, cars, and raise their bank accounts. But only she knows....
The End of the game has now arrived, she has failed to strive for an education, she has failed to manage her money, she has failed to be loyal, she has failed to show respect and she has failed to lean on communication to get her through the situations. After she chose to participate in her last freestyle play, this popped up on the screen

Quotes:
Sometimes when you help someone who has been on the ground so long and you bring them up to the level you are on, they are liable to stab you in the back and then fall back down. Also, sometimes it's best to leave them where they once were if they keep running back there anyway after you've tried to helped them multiple times.
