A Word To My Brothers!!!!

Hear me if I was speaking, read this and equip this inside. The streets is not the right path and it's not the way out. As young black men we have alternate routes to make the best of ourselves. There is nothing in the streets except drugs and violence. As black men, we have many talents and skills that can open doors to a better lifestyle. Pick y'all heads up and stop trying to live the life of a thug or a gangsta. Every fight is not worth fighting, sometimes it's best for you to walk away. If you take a look at me, you remember me hanging and kicking it in the streets all the time, I then thought to myself, I don't want to do this for the rest of my life, so I went to school and got my education. Some say school isn't for everyone but when you in school you don't have violence going on and you have a positive mind set. If school is not an option, put your heads together and try to think of ways to better your community instead of tearing it apart. We out here robbing and killing for petty little things then we spend half if not the rest of our lives in prison. I'm telling y'all we are way better than that, the streets will not bring you success. Put the guns away, grab each other hand and pull yourselves together. When violence in our community is exposed to the media, folks are not just feeling sorry, but there are folks that's laughing at us as well. The best kind of men in the world are Intelligent black men. They say America is a great place to be with a lot of opportunities, that statement is true for all of us, but we don't have many opportunites because we not putting our brains to work. Instead we rather fight and kill, which leads us to jail or death. I guarantee if we change our present lifestyle into a positive one, life would be a better place; many doors would open up for us and folks would look at us totally different. My Brothers, My Brothers Do What You Have To Do Now, So You Can Do What You Want In The Future and Right Now You Have to Change Your Life Around and Be The Change For Yourself and Society.

          After doing my research on Camilia Terry, I came up with an opinion of my own. First thing, for those of you who say you would have beaten her behind and what not, you would have been in jail as well. I understand you all have hurt inside, but murder is the same sin as beating her up, lying and stealing. Negativity gets you nowhere in life. Do your research before judging someone.
