Good Morning,
Here's a self assessment exercise for you:
Every morning, enter your bathroom or somewhere in your home where there's a mirror (If you have a body mirror that would be perfect). Before applying make up/foundation, grooming your hair, brushing your teeth and putting on clothes, look in the mirror for a minute or two and repeat "I love you for who you are and I refuse to be controlled by what others think, say and do." Then smile.
The purpose of this exercise is to get you to love yourself and to free yourself.
Many people spend time trying to fit in with society or trying to live up to someone else's standards instead of their own. Loving yourself and refusing to be deployed by the thoughts and actions of others, help you become self-disciplined and it helps you to live out your purpose.
When given the chance to identify yourself, give your own definition of yourself. Let others know how you perceive yourself and show them that you have ownership of your life. If not, they will decide and control your life for you.
Your Brother, Jameel!
