Why I Think Violence Occur In Black Poverty Dominated Communities
If you were to ask of my opinion, as to why I think the violence in black poverty dominated communities is continuing to rise and get out of hand, I would say it's because of the lack of leadership of the men in those communities especially in the households. Many more of our men are becoming incarcerated and being killed as a result of the miseducation from music artist, actors, and oppressors. Many of our artist and actors are encouraging and leading our men to commit acts of violence and crime, which causes them to be removed from their home by incarceration or by death. Our men are encouraged by artists and actors to sleep with other men's wives and girlfriends which result in a broken homes. The non encouragement of having a family, have men skipping out on their children. The oppressed create problems and laws surrounding them, which keep our men enslaved mentally and keeping us away from our families for long periods of time.
With men removed from the home either by incarceration, death and by lack of being a father, the child and his or her mother is left at home as victims to the government, victims to rapist, victims too robbers, victims to burglars and victims to violence such as abuse and killings. Dad isn’t there to protect them because he has been influenced that not raising a family is cool, or because his life was ended by violence in his community or he is incarcerated.
Looking at oppression from a high level and the dehumanization of African people, in order for the dominant American society to have rise and to have achieved as much as they have now, they had to destroy the African families. They did so by removing the masculine male from the equation, who was the builder, leader, educator, protector, provider and server of his family. “Divide and conquer.” They had to make them weak by destroying their mind. One way they made African men weak, was by brutalizing their children, brutalizing and raping their wives, while they were shackled, unable to protect their loved ones.Another way they made them weak, was by auctioning off their wives and children t o different slave owners who had different plantations located far away from where they were. They also deprived them of their history, religion, origin, and connections to their families, causing them to not know thyself and to self destruct. Destroying their minds and preventing them from living out their true purpose, which is to build, educate, protect, provide, and serve their family and community, is what made them weak. Removing African men from the home made it easier for them to rape and capture their women and to capture their children.
Looking at the society today, circumstances are created which deprive men of their history, origin, purpose, and connections to their families. Causing them to not know thyself. History books, television shows, music and images, do not reveal true African history, excellence, and purpose. There are little to no traces of ancestors. Prison systems are designed to break men mentally and to destroy families, some which only allow them to have a non-contact visit, allowing them to only see their family through glass. Poisoned television, music, films and images are destroying the minds of our men and is preventing them from living out their purpose, which again is to build, lead, educate, protect, provide and serve their families and their community. Those circumstances are causing men to become mentally weak, a “slave” (severely limited at valuing education).
With the leadership destroyed in black families, women and children turn to poisoned television shows, music, movies and social media for means of education and direction. Single parent mothers are searching for the love, attention and protection she requires, through social media. She spend multiple hours a day surfing the internet, hitting the like button on Facebook and commenting on pictures of the men she's physically attracted to on Instagram, chasing unfit men all the while her children are being neglected. They begin getting poor reports from school, falling behind in school, dropping out of school, hanging with troubled youth, joining games, selling drugs, abusing drugs, shooting, killing, posting half naked pictures on social media for 100 + likes and comments, seeking the attention from strangers, that they didn't get from mom and dad. The disappearance of dad and the neglect of mom, forces the children to be raised by gangster rap and movies. Music telling them that all they need is sex, money, drugs, clothes and a whip (car). Music telling our young ladies that the only thing they possess that is valuable is their body parts. Music encouraging them to take off their clothes and dance for a dirty dollar. Black movies playing violent and sex scenes instead of wealth and education. A young brother grow up to only lose his life to the streets or to incarceration just as his father had done. Young sisters seeking sex at 12 years old, birthing kids at 14, searching for the love of a man and a father of their child, just as their mother had done. Parents then wonder why their baby girl or baby boy has taken a different path in life. They let them develop that lifestyle. Their abandonment, their incarceration, their donation of sperm, losing their life to the street life, their neglect by chasing love in all the wrong places, chasing men who only provide good sex, and not finding their children positive mentors. They let their baby boy or baby girl grow up without proper direction, tracing their footsteps turning to the streets for love, money, and attention, and ending up abused, dead, or in jail.
In order for violence to cease in black communities, fathers have to take on the roles of leadership in their home and in their community. Leadership and positive reinforcement must be implemented. They have to be family oriented; spread love, joy, promote healthy relationships, educate effectively, provide, protect and remain in the home. They have to shut off the negative television shows, music, discard negative video games and most of all, they have to be that dominated male they started out to be, a King.
