Started out as a little nappy headed boy running around the projects of Cleveland surrounded by drug and gang activity with only dreams of making it to the NBA. That little nappy headed boy went on to excell in the educational programs provided by the Cleveland Public School System. From there, went on an excelled in a Higher learning program that most folks fail to attend. That little nappy headed boy dropped the dreams of the NBA, self-disciplined himself, got rid of the negative influence that was surrounding and achieved many goals in life and has become a remarkable father and role model to his son and others that's around him. That little nappy head boy is me.

...There I was thinking that all my learning was complete after five years of college and me thinking working in my career field and saving money will give me the American Dream. Then it came to reality that saving money wouldn't make me wealthy and I was stuck in the rat race. Three books taught me how to get out the rat race...five years of college only taught me how to race along other rats and taught me perseve rance - enough to know that I if I could make it through five years of college, I could do anything. I can't fault the general knowledge I gained in College...It have helped me mature over the years. Those three book gave me motivation to action. I'm now investing my time and money on other investment books and seminars, so I can learn as much as I can about financial literacy before being released from the lab full of rats and on my journey to financial independence.
Response to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s decision to ban owner Donald Sterling from the NBA:
( Image from Google) In response to owner Donald Sterling’s audio remarks pertaining to African Americans, it’s disturbing to hear such racist remarks from an NBA franchise owner that has African American players and staff apart of his organization. Although his statements appear to be very unprofessional and racist, I believe that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver should have not have disciplined him as such. Yes for banning him from future NBA events and No for fining him $2.5 million dollars. I could tell you what motivated me to achieve, but I'm not sure if it applies to everyone else. Student Organizations, Academic Support Center, and the motivation and support of my peers. Can u tell me in detail how those things motivated you? Student organizations allowed me to be involved with other individuals that came from a less fortunate background as I did. Together we became one another’s back bone (support system). When either of us faced a problem rather it was academic, financial, or a crisis, we were there to support and comfort one another. That there was motivation for me to achieve my goals. The Academic support center offered tutoring, financial support, and employment help. The academic support center was motivation its self because there were people looking in from the outside that was willing to help students in need. Are you putting your life and happiness on hold for someone that's incarcerated? Are you being mislead with the jail/prison talk about them making things right when they return to society such as getting married, being family oriented, securing a job position, being responsible etc? If so, you may want to stop wasting your time on someone who isn't there to make you happy. Before you know it, your kids will be older, cars will be flying, your hair will be gray and it will be time to retire. Time doesn't wait for anyone. They wait until after being incarcerated to decide they want to be there for their family and to be responsible. They can do that when they return to society, but for the mean time, get out, date, have fun and be happy. Their wrong doings and imprisonment shouldn't ruin your life too.
I believe Valentine's Day is more than cards, gifts, and candy. It's thousands of ways to show that new person how much they mean to you and how much you love your significant other.
