PARENTS PLEASE....
Please stop forcing your kids to become miseducated in a school system that is not designed for them to be great.
Straight A's and B's from outdated curriculum and text books from Kindergarten throughout college serve no real purpose in life. The only report card that matter is your Financial Statement.
No one ask or even care if you got perfect attendance or honor roll in the fourth grade. Employers don't ask about the grades you received in your freshman year of college electives.
Schools are designed to program us to become professional employees from the time we enter grade school to securing our first job. They don't teach real life skills, just job skills. They teach us how to manage the daily operations of someone else's dream and nothing about ours. Becoming someone's doctor, lawyer, dentist, or police officer is a job, not a Dream.
Have you taken a moment to realized that your educational instructors are in the same classroom teaching the same stuff long after you have left? The same teacher that have encouraged you to graduate college but is it debt up to the ceiling? The same teacher who obtained her degree and wasn't able to work in the school district of her choice? The same teacher who was no longer as passionate about teaching, so she did/do enough to get her paycheck?
Have you taken a moment to think that many of us enter an institution debt free and leave buried in debt, not being able to become financially wealthy or to secure the job we were promised?
Why continue to force our children to go through the same revolving door with the hopes of them doing it better than us?
It will never work.
For most, a College Degree is a certificate of debt owed to the federal government that takes a decade or more to pay, which postpone you from living the life you desire. Most CEO's and business owners do not have a college degree.
We are now in the "Do it Yourself" era, the information era where you can do it without a formal Euro-American education.
Your child shouldn't have to spend eight or more hours in school and come how to do homework for the rest of the day. You are taking away from their childhood and distracting them from their purpose. Use the time at home to allow them to be kids, as well as to prepare them for real world experiences.
Set your child free so they can fly.
