LIFE OF A MOTIVATED MAN

No one ever told me that I couldn't do something or that I wouldn't be someone great. Instead, everyone encouraged me that I could and I would. Unless they whispered to you that I couldn't or I wouldn't. I wasn't placed in my current positions to prove all I could be to those who are in doubt, I'm in my current position because I love what I do. I'm just expressing myself to those who are observing from near and afar. Leaders aren't born, they are made. Leaders do not prove themselves, they express themselves. Proving yourself worthy takes a lot of effort and you will never be able to satisfy the entire human population. In a World where Successful Black Sisters Envy Young Black Sisters who are Striving to Walk in their Shoes. In a World where Black Brothers are Confused as to what has Value and what doesn't. In a World where our Children are Suffering due to the Lack of Education from our Parents. We have Kids Birthing Children. In a World where Religious Leaders are still taking your money on Sunday's and our Neighborhoods are still Poor, our Great-Aunts are still Poor. In a World where schools refuse to hire Real Educators, "Black Men." In a World where my people are Trapped in the Rat Race; Living above their means not knowing that Every Dollar Spent is used to make the Rich Richer and the Poor Poorer. Sisters Purchasing Designer Clothes, Hair and Makeup. Brothers Buying Jordan's and Polo, still stuck in the same Neighborhood they grew up in. In a World where we don't "Think Outside the Box." My opinion and my opinion only: I truly dislike when a sister who's single, exposes her body to the world that she doesn't even know and expect to find a good brother.  How can you expect to get a good guy when you're signaling to the world that all you have to offer is Sex?  Men who only want the sex will be the only ones in your comments, messages, direct messages, text messages, at your door step and in your bed.  WAKE UP!  - Jameel Davis 

I've learned that only 2 cents out of every dollar spent is invested into the black community. We as black people spend more money on foreign and dominant products than we spend on our own products. We pay for the Asian's free Education in America by buying their products.  If we took the same principal and apply it to our own community, we would become capitalist.  We make them hurt by messing with their money. The Montgomery Bus Boycott is a prime example. Let's apply that idea to all the dominant businesses in America Today. Let's start with Wal-Mart.  -- Jameel 

I've learned that the reason many black folks spent their money as quickly as they got it back then was because white bank owners would take the blacks money when they parked it in their bank many years ago and leave them with nothing. Also, black folks weren't allowed to buy what the whites had. So to keep money from being taken from them, they spent it on things that they thought were valuable. Today, we practice the same principles. 

No one said it would be easy but it wasn't that hard. Although it was very time consuming. The moment I decided to create my own legacy was the moment I realized that being myself was a lot easier than being a follower. I didn't obtain my position through luck nor was it handed to me. Instead I've earned it. I didn't create enemies, I created supporters. I see the best in others because I can see the best in me and when they see the best in me I achieve all that I can be.  - Jameel Davis 

I called 🙏upon the creator to wake my buddy "Ryan Wright" up from this coma so I can give him the support he needs. He's been under😔 for about 15 days and and turned 23 year while in his current state. I normally don't show any signs of emotion, but this got to me. When he was at his lowest, it was me who lifted him up and inspired him to reach his full potential when everyone else refused to help. He reached out to me a few weeks ago and was in good spirits. He got rid of some negative influences, he was attending church, he found a job and he was fighting for custody for his daughter. He told me he never done this well in life and thanked me for all my advice. I want to know what made him get off track. He's a brighter young man. I'm hoping he recover soon. 😥
