Programs such as #FirstTake that's going on in Chicago right now, are often putting together these community Q&A forums about violence in black communities. These kind of forums aren't solutions to the problem. They often want to know the cause of the violence and talk about solutions that they aren't going to implement.  Here is my take:  Miseducation and Economic Castration is the result of violence. If the people aren't taught true education, which are skills obtained for self-sufficiency, but instead taught skills needed to depend on others, then they resort to violence as a means of survival. If all they are taught is to go to school, graduate, get a good job and buy nice things, then they have been miseducated. Those whom are discriminated against when it comes to employment are forced to take from businesses and others as a means of taking care of themselves and their families. Networking is essential in the 21st Century. I believe the most important part about college, if you choose to attend, is the opportunity to network.  Although I didn't use my college education to learn academically or to secure a career, I did use it to connect with many people in different walks of life who are able to aide in my current avenues in life and whom I'm able to assist with theirs. I have connections with professionals in many industries; lawyers, doctors, nurses, judges, professors, marketing gurus, accountants, writers, authors, dancers, singers, entrepreneurs and in many other fields.  Use your current school, job, sports, activities, gift, talents, and so forth to connect with others. Most of these Millennial parents, turn their kids school into a fashion show; they're more concerned about how their kids look, than their kids being graduates though.  Mom said, did you get the Jordan's yet? or did you cop his polo? The First day of school is tomorrow, he gotta be fresh for his photo.  Mom and dad face the mirror, all they got is their exterior, dropped out of high school, they're more comfortable dressing fly and walking around with a hollow interior.  Everyday is a fashion show, nothing else matter though, they kill each other for attention, even their death is a fashion show.
