AFRANTIC

Image
I created the words AFRANTIC (Af-ran-tic) and AFRANCE (Af-ran-ce) to represent our original way of expressing love and affection.  We as a people have adopted the Caucasian/Roman way of expressing love and affection; ROMANCE (Ro-man-ce) and ROMANTIC (Ro-man-tic). If you look at the word Romantic, it means roman-antics, which are false paradigms of love and affection for the original man and woman.  - Jameel Davis

GIVE THEM TO MANY YES'S: They will attempt to destroy you for a No

Many times we give a person a 1000 Yes's, then turn around and give them 10 No's. They then criticize us for the No's, without acknowledging the Yes's, and believe in their heart that we are crazy, have changed and have done nothing for them. That's right, we have changed but we aren't crazy. We have changed because you got use to us saying the word yes and then you began using us for our Yes's. You became comfortable and dependent on us without offering something in return.  We through in a few No's to see how you would react and we got the response we knew you were going to give, which was the criticism and which is why you are alone.  Jameel Davis

Black History is present twenty-four hours a days and seven days week. You breathing is History in itself.  The world wouldn't have what it have now, if it wasn't for the creation of the first human being, who was a black woman name "Lucy." Her name was not Eve.  So don't limit the celebration of our race and culture to 28 days a year, celebrate it 365 days a year. The world wouldn't revolve if it wasn't for the black men, women and children walking the earth today as well as those who have
