TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK: What Real Teachers Are About!
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK: What Real Teachers Are About!
What if I told you that, over the last five months I have helped our juveniles embark on a journey that was both fun and life changing.
I have been teaching to the juveniles (majority Colored) in the County Juvenile Detention Center, and that no media personnel or administration have recognized the program's success in transforming our youth.
What if I told you that, when Caucasian, Non-Authentic Jews, and other non-minority speakers and program instructors enter the facility, they are backed with a media crew and the administrative staff to highlight their non-effective work.
What if I told you that, some of the Caucasian Educational Staff in the system tried to run me out because I know how to reach our youth and know how to teach people-skills; love, respect, empathy, compassion, integrity, authenticity, generosity, leadership etc., and skills needed to be successful and responsible adults. What if I told you that, all they know how to teach is miseducation and suppression; an alien identity, skills needed to support the oppressors, their civilization, and skills designed to keep them coming back into the system. What if I told you that, this don't just happen in correctional institutions but in the public school system as well. The staff that tried to run me out are hired by the Cleveland Metropolitan School System.
What if I told you that, despite the actions of the Caucasian staff, I still managed to reached our Youth and was able to show them a new way of life. What if I told you that, the Caucasian staff were afraid of me because I didn't take "No" for an answer and because I'm an Educated Colored Man. A Dangerous Colored Man is a man with brains, confidence, pride, courage and who is brave enough to challenge all odds against him and get the job done. Not a Colored Man with a gun.
What if I told you that, what the media make out our juveniles/adults who are incarcerated to be, isn't a reality and that it is all made up so you can be against them, and help send them back to jail/prison. What if I told you, that majority of the time our incarcerated men, women and children are civilized beings, well behaved and are trying to make a change, but the system will not allow them.
What if I told you that, It's the media that blow up a story that make them seem crazy or very violent, but in reality it's not true. Sometimes we may have a few people that act out but it's not often. The story released by the media is what keep our people suppressed in jails/prison, as well as in society. Society watch these mass media outlets and believe everything they hear and read, which causes bias opinions, racial discrimination, prejudice, and cruel and unusual punishment against our own kind.
What if I told you, that they system is set up for Colored people to fall into the trap of mass incarceration as a form of modern day slavery. Keeping them enslaved, incarcerated, to collect that check.
What if I told you that, the media rather not highlight Colored People uplifting Colored People, but Colored People degrading and killing other Colored People. The media will highlight the made up actions of their race, so you can believe that they are helping us (Colored People) and that all Colored People are against other Colored People. But in reality, none of it is true. The still photographs and short video clips are just photographs and short clips; they snap the picture and video to show they were there, stream it live, which you then believe they are making a difference in helping us and then they go on about their business.
What if I told you that, you don't need media to make a difference and that all you need is you.
Would You Believe Me?
